QualRotate compressors are used in oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy industries, excelling in offshore platforms, FPSO, FLNG, and onshore pipeline applications.

Q: What types of process gas compressors does QualRotate offer?

We offer Turbomachinery Compressors (centrifugal & axial)  and Reciprocating Compressors.

Q: What is the difference between Turbomachinery and Reciprocating Compressors?

Turbomachinery Compressors are better for high flow, continuous operation, ideal for large-scale applications, while Reciprocating Compressors excel at high pressure and precise control for variable or demanding processes.

Q: What makes QualRotate compressors reliable under extreme conditions?

Our compressors feature high-efficiency impeller stage designs, compact structures, and excellent rotor dynamics, tested to ensure performance and stability in demanding environments.

Q: What makes turbomachinery compressors different from other types?

Turbomachinery compressors feature optimized rotor dynamics, high aerodynamic efficiency, and continuous-duty capability, handling large flow rates and demanding industrial conditions.

Q: How do turbomachinery compressors maintain reliability and long service life?

Precision manufacturing, advanced sealing systems, and robust rotor designs minimize vibration and wear, ensuring stable operation and extended lifecycle under heavy-duty applications.

Q: What types of service and support does QualRotate provide for process gas compressors?

QualRotate provides service and support for process gas compressors, including complete unit retrofit, compressor consulting, spare parts and repair services, control systems, and rotating equipment maintenance and management solutions. These services support both centrifugal and reciprocating compressors across upgrade, overhaul and maintenance stages.

Q: Which industries and applications does your service team support?

Our service and support experience covers oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, offshore platforms, refining and related process industries. We support compressors operating in demanding conditions where reliability, turnaround time and lifecycle performance are critical.

Q: Do you support both centrifugal and reciprocating compressors?

Yes. QualRotate provides service and support for both centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, including component repair, spare parts, overhaul services and control system support, based on proven engineering practices and field experience.

Q: Can QualRotate support both on-site service and workshop overhaul?

Yes. Support covers both on-site major overhaul and factory-based maintenance. Overhaul and repair can be performed at customer sites or at QualRotate’s own facilities in Liaoning. A new digital factory in Zhejiang is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2026 to further expand overhaul capacity.

Q: How does QualRotate help reduce turnaround time during overhaul or repair?

By integrating engineering evaluation, in-house manufacturing, repair capabilities and coordinated field service, QualRotate helps customers shorten turnaround time and restore compressor operation efficiently while maintaining safety and quality requirements.

Q: Does QualRotate provide spare parts for different compressor brands?

Yes. QualRotate supplies spare parts and repair services for compressors from multiple mainstream OEM brands. Our experience covers critical components such as bearings, dry gas seals, rotors, casings and reciprocating compressor parts.

Q: What repair and refurbishment capabilities are available for critical components?

Our repair services include casing repair welding, rotor journal restoration, bushing replacement, precision machining and component refurbishment, helping recover dimensional accuracy, sealing performance and operational stability of rotating equipment.

Q: Can QualRotate support compressor control systems and commissioning?

QualRotate provides compressor control system services, including hardware and software engineering, anti-surge and speed control, FAT and on-site SAT commissioning, ensuring safe operation, stable control performance and smooth start-up.

Q: Do you offer digital or system-based solutions for equipment maintenance management?

Yes. QualRotate offers rotating equipment maintenance and management systems that support condition monitoring and lifecycle data management, helping customers improve asset visibility, maintenance planning and long-term equipment reliability.

Q: What is the difference between a process reciprocating compressor and a high-speed reciprocating compressor?

Process reciprocating compressors are designed for heavy-duty API 618 services such as petrochemical, refining, fertilizer, and gas transmission/injection. High-speed reciprocating compressors are more often used for gas gathering, processing, storage, and LNG-related duties where compact arrangement and higher operating speed are required.

Q: What standards are covered by QualRotate’s reciprocating compressor offering?

QualRotate's reciprocating compressor portfolio covers both API 618 process-service compressors and ISO 13631-based high-speed separated compressors. For selected high-speed projects, API 618-based requirements can also be considered according to project scope.

Q: What applications are typical for the ZX process reciprocating compressor series?

The ZX Series is intended for petrochemical, refining, fertilizer, cold gas, methanol, ethylene, ammonia, nitric acid, urea, and natural-gas transmission/injection services. It is positioned for demanding process-gas duties requiring robust frame design and heavy-duty operation.

Q: What applications are typical for the ZXH high-speed reciprocating compressor series?

The ZXH Series is mainly used for natural gas gathering, processing, storage, and LNG-related duties. It is suited to field applications where higher operating speed, compact arrangement, and flexible deployment are important.

Q: Can QualRotate supply a packaged reciprocating compressor unit?

Yes. QualRotate can support skid-packaged reciprocating compressor solutions. The packaged scope can include the main driver or soft starter, pulsation dampers, coolers, separators, drain tanks, valves, process and auxiliary piping, lubrication and cooling consoles, local control panel, and optional HydroCom system.

Q: Can project engineering documents be provided together with the compressor package?

Yes. Depending on project scope, QualRotate can support engineering deliverables such as MBO, P&ID, BOM, GA/FP/PA drawings, and instrument/logic-related documents to help customers coordinate design, procurement, and site execution more efficiently.

Q: Does QualRotate provide only the compressor frame, or also related auxiliary systems?

QualRotate's support is not limited to the compressor frame itself. For packaged projects, the scope can extend to vessels, piping, lubrication and cooling systems, local controls, and related execution support, depending on project definition.

Q: Can QualRotate support reciprocating compressor spare parts and maintenance needs?

Yes. In addition to compressor supply, QualRotate also provides reciprocating compressor spare parts and related service support, which can be combined with overhaul or field-maintenance requirements according to customer needs.

Q: How should a customer choose between a process reciprocating compressor and a high-speed reciprocating compressor?

The choice depends mainly on service type, pressure level, operating speed, layout preference, and project conditions. For heavy-duty process applications such as petrochemical and gas transmission/injection, process reciprocating compressors are typically more suitable. For gas gathering, treatment, storage, and LNG-related field duties, high-speed reciprocating compressors are often the more practical option.
