Project Background: This project is a key initiative in Jiangyin City for 2024. with QualRotate providing the skid-mounted design and implementation for the CG-411-PTA reactor feed pump. It will introduce the most advanced international processes and technologies to build China’s first PTA production facility with an annual capacity of 3.2 million tons. The project aims to establish a large-scale PTA industrial production base in China. It is the world largest high speed pump for PTA, with a total investment of 5 billion RMB and a implementation period of one year. Due to QualRotate’s involvement, the project achieved savings of 20 million RMB for the client.

• Reactor Feed Pump (Main Unit): Multi-stage high-speed gear pump (currently the world’s largest design specification).

• QualRotate's Contribution: Providing localized skid-mounted design and implementation solutions for the reactor feed pump.


Core Design Highlights:

1. Driver: Equipped with a 10kV air-cooled, self-circulating energy-saving motor.

2. Sealing System: Configured with P54+P32 water seal station, with a sealing pressure rating of 15 MPa.

3. Lubrication and Cooling System: Features a high-rigidity, compact integrated base for the main unit, oil tank, heat exchanger, and motor.

4. Instrumentation and Control System: Configured with a BN3500 online monitoring system, along with temperature, flow, and pressure control valves and transmitters.

• Manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of electromechanical and instrumentation equipment

• Coating, packaging, large-scale hoisting, and transportation

Quality Standards:

1. Integrated Base: Straightness of 0.02 mm/m for a base size of 7500 × 3300 mm.

2. Process Pipelines: Φ219×24 316L pipelines with 100% RT non-destructive testing pass rate.

3. Hydrostatic Testing: 100% first-pass qualification rate for process pipelines.

4. Axial and Radial Alignment: Precision of 0.01 mm between the main unit and the driver.

5. Compliance with the highest industry standards and specifications.


Scope of QualRotate's Work:

QualRotate's responsibilities cover design, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing, and on-site services for the project. This includes electromechanical and instrumentation commissioning for both single-unit and integrated systems.


Delivery Timeline:

The project spans 12 months, with a total of 4 sets to be delivered.
