On August 6. 2025. QualRotate Machinery participated in a technical showcase event organized by Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) and hosted by PETRONAS, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company. The event brought together key players in the country’s petroleum and petrochemical sector, including representatives from Shell, ExxonMobil, Aramco, and other major industry stakeholders. This visit marked a significant follow-up to prior collaborations between QualRotate and PETRONAS, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing the reliability and maintainability of rotating equipment in the energy sector.
The delegation was led by Mr. Wang Zaibin, General Manager of QualRotate Machinery, and included key representatives such as the Director and Operation Manager of QualRotate’s Malaysia joint venture, the Director and Engineer of Proposals, the R&D Director, and the Director of Control and Digitalization.
During the session, QualRotate delivered a comprehensive presentation on its full-spectrum capabilities in compressor solutions, including centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, compressor skid design and packaging, compressor reverse engineering and repair services, as well as proprietary software for rotating equipment digitalization. These offerings reflect the company’s commitment to global deployment and continuous technological innovation.
PETRONAS acknowledged the performance of the CP206-A compressor previously delivered by QualRotate, highlighting its stable operation, absence of abnormal vibrations, and fulfillment of all performance criteria. In February 2025. the PETRONAS IVA team conducted a detailed technical evaluation, confirming the compressor’s performance within design specifications. A 90-day trend analysis further supported its operational stability, validating the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
Following the technical session, the QualRotate team engaged in in-depth discussions with PETRONAS representatives, exchanging insights on future project requirements, technical collaboration models, and localization strategies. The dialogue further strengthened mutual trust and opened up new possibilities for long-term cooperation.
